Cost Estimator (m/f), Thiruvananthapuram in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala

Your tasks:
- Demonstrating a willingness to share ideas, listen attentively, participate actively and work for the mutual benefit of all parties and the goals to be achieved with customers, co-workers and vendors
- Understanding and maintaining the highest safety standards per OSHA and industry guidelines
- Gaining trust and respect by working with integrity, openness, honesty, balance, and respecting others
- Estimate material and fabrication costs based on historical data, sketches, drawings, and vendors
- Complete labor estimates from historical data and input from project, engineering andservices group leaders
- Obtain pricing for key subcontracted components with input from engineering, procurement, and vendors
- Provide input for risk assessment on potential cost overruns and contingencies
- Create, maintain, and update database of cost estimates and fixed pricing for componentsand labor
- Continually looking for ways to identify solutions, enhance quality and create value and then taking action
- Understanding that change is inevitable and embracing it with positivity and openness
Your skills:
- Utilizes effective oral and exceptional written communication skills
- Airpollution control equipment and/or solids handling equipment experience a plus
- Degree in engineering or technical degree required
- Professional demeanor and approach
- Strong organizational skills
